Learning how to punch more accurately? Yes, please.

So I had two articles in the paper this week. Yay! And I'm working on three more right now, with the help of my fellow intern at the Landmark, Sam. We covered a small senior center event on Friday afternoon, took some pictures, y'know, the usual stuff. Then one lady got up and told us all about how she lost her memory once and has been gaining it back for 40 years. Wow. So we went up to her at the end and she agreed to let us help tell her story. We're writing it together right now, through email. I think it'll come out really interesting at the end - this woman's had a crazy life.

Sam and I are also going to a martial arts school tomorrow night to get some info about their programs and take a sample course. We get to learn the basics of how to kick butt, and then write about it. Awesome. :) We're both really excited about this - I feel like a little kid. I get to learn how to punch things and kick. Woooooop :)

I can't tell you about the third story yet, because I'm covering a secret surprise party for someone so I don't want to say anything just in case. Shhhhhh. I'll tell you about it after I cover it and take pretty pretty pictures and things like that. I think it's going to be really cute, though. ;)

Nothing else is happening here, really. I spent my day lounging around and walking outside in the sun. I also did some cleaning (finally) just so I could feel sort of accomplished. But that's it... so exciting, I know.
